The Bureau is recruiting a Deputy Editor
The award-winning Bureau of Investigative Journalism is looking for a motivated and tenacious deputy editor. The role will entail working alongside the managing editor and other senior staff to ensure the Bureau publishes strong and engaging investigations that are in the public interest.
The ideal candidate must have:
- a thorough understanding of current media law
- several years editing experience
- subbing and headline writing abilities
- good writing skills
- meticulous fact checking abilities
- demonstrable enthusiasm for investigative journalism
- an interest in innovative approaches to investigation and story production.
Salary dependent on experience.
