British military advisers story gets global pick up
The Bureau’s report on the expulsion of British military advisers from Pakistan was picked up by the mainstream press globally.
Originally published in the London Guardian, it was later picked up by Reuters, The Daily Telegraph, CNN, AFP, the BBC and even British Forces News.
The story went on to be reported by more than 200 news outlets, appearing on the website of Pakistan’s Express Tribune and Dawn, as well as that of India’s NDTV.
The Bureau will be publishing a number of stories on the US drone campaign and the fight against the Taliban and al Qaeda over the coming weeks and months.
